Rosie & LouLou at Magical Transformations!

We were so excited to spend a rainy Sunday at the super snazzy Artscape Wychwood Barns for an event called Magical Transformations! 

We made lots of new, tiny friends. We’ve never hung out with so many kids and man oh man, we are FANS. Kids know what is UP. No willy-nilly. Just the real honest deal.

LouLou did some Irish dancing. Rosie tried cotton candy for the first time. (The former was more successful than the latter…) We were delighted to finally meet Princess Penelope, a sister-in-search-of-love who we’ve admired from afar ever since she arrived in Toronto. We’re excited to spend a night out on the town with her soon!

We find that watching it in the morning over toast and marmite (LouLou) and cherries on a blue pipecleaner dipped in yogurt (Rosie) leads to very lucky-in-love days. When do you like to watch it?

We’re super extremely toes-wiggling excited that Rosie & LouLou: Quest for Love will be screened at Red Nose District on Monday, Feb. 21st at Bad Dog Theatre. Red Nose District is a night of clown, physical comedy, bouffon, mime, comedia and vaudeville. This evening of clown duo turns is looking at our all time favorite subject matter to discuss, LOVE. It is hosted by our friends from Pandemonium Machine, Morro and Jasp!

Our documentary “Rosie & LouLou: Quest for Love” was accepted into the PANDEMONIUM MACHINE at Theatre Passe Muraille on January 22nd, 2011. If you’re anywhere else on that winter evening you’re a few pieces short of a jigsaw puzzle.

A chaotic Wonderland filled with wild brides, musical rides, arctic madness and alien revelations? Some (sure to be) new friends just as saucily clever and physically coordinated as us?? Our faces on a screen AND an introduction by our director Mademoiselle Elli??? Could it get any better????

Shhh! We have a secret!

So we have a killer kamikaze of a secret project to tell you about… But you have to keep it a secret. We don’t want the whole world finding out and the surprise getting ruined. Okay? Pinky swear? Good.

Were you walking on Front St. two Thursdays ago? You were! WOW! Because so were we! Did you see us? We were the exceptionally saucy chickies with our arms full of carnations and our hearts full of anticipations. We were looking for love from the studcupcakes in suits, studscones on bikes and studMUFFINS carrying parcels! And if you saw us then you definitely saw the camera documenting our quest for rooooomance…

We’re doing an Art Wank!

we’re doing the Art Wank at the Toronto Fringe Festival, Tuesday July 6th at 8pm in the alleyway behind the two Honest Ed’s buildings!

What happens when we take the quest for clown love into our own hands at the July edition of the Single Mingle in the Annex? Dance-offs, sick beats, ferocious flirting, head scratches, name tags and maybe, if you’re lucky, a date.
